- Site Updates
- This section will contain updates to the site itself: new pages, page updates, etc.
- • 17 Sept 08 - Due to a legal issue, updates were halted for some time. This has been resolved.
- • 27 Aug 07 - Updated server that hosts the site, allowing us to update again. (Fixed a technical problem that halted updates on the site, but the database has still been updated.) 28 Aug 07 typo fixed.
- • 16 Jun 05 - Updated first page, minor reformatting and link updates. Fixed the error that was causing the word "color" to display instead of the actual color. Removed registration numbers so database could not be used to falsify registration papers. Continue to display registration body (AKC, UKC, etc).
- • 18 Apr 05 - Added page for Otto of Rydens with reprint of 1962 article about him.
- • 17 Dec 04 - Redesigned data submission form to make it easier and less confusing. Added some fields for health information collection.
- • 4 Dec 04 - Updated minor formatting of site print outs and displays. Not anything major, but little things that were irritating us.
- • 13 Jun 04 - Moved website to faster server - did you notice? New servers sometimes mean days without access while we reprogram, but this was not one of those! (Well...okay, so it was down about half a day.)
- • 4 Jun 04 - Finally got the reverse pedigrees, trial matings and breeding reports working again. No more server errors! We B Programmers!
- • 7 Mar 04 - Minor tweaks to index and search pages.
• 8 Feb 04 - Added this updates page.
• 24 Jan 04 - Changed the additions and corrections page, updated all site pages with fresh links.
• 10 Jan 04 - Added the "Petsie" page.
- Database Updates
- Here's where you'll find the dates of updates and changes to the database. It will not be specific, i.e., you will not find lists of recently added or updated animals, but it will give a general idea of how often the database is updated online.
- • 17 Sept 08 - Newly updated! Total dogs online now: 40614.
- • 27 Aug 07 - Finally able to update again (see above) and more than 3000 dogs added. Total dogs online now: 38851.
- • 17 Jun 05 - Added another batch of dogs from misc sources. Added photos for another 40 individual dogs. Total dogs online: 35414.
- • 16 Jun 05 - Thanks to those who have made donations! It does help! Fixed the color error that was not showing colors on the pedigrees. Updated database and more photos added. More records from historical sources now available. Total dogs online: 35383.
- • 28 Apr 05 - Pedigree submissions (complete through 23 April) with data additions and corrections. Thank you to the Australian Pug world who have added so many of their lines into the database! Total dogs online: 35278.
- • 18 Apr 05 - More dogs, more photos (keep sending them in!), some historical photos (1930-1960s!) added along with pedigree submissions (through 12 March) and data additions and corrections. Thank you! Total dogs online: 34963.
- • 10 Apr 05 - Updated many historical dogs, included more photos (keep sending them in!), added some new pedigree submissions. Thank you! Total dogs online: 34892.
- • 4 Dec 04 - Now we've REALLY been busy! Had the time, needed the break, need to get back into the habit. Besides, found some cool stuff to be added and we need to shred the printouts for Christmas packing! Total dogs online: 34651
- • 3 Dec 04 - Happy holidays! We've been busy getting the database back in shape. Corrections, additions, all that stuff made. Thanks to those who have sent their information in! Total dogs online: 34597
- • 27 Sept 04 - Summer got here, we got busy. Didn't neglect the database, but didn't get the new one uploaded. Now we have. Total dogs online: 34466
- • 13 Jun 04 - The new server inspired us to work harder! Total dogs online: 34324
- • 4 Jun 04 - Okay, we've been busy! But now there are new entries, updates and corrections. Total dogs online: 34146
- • 15 Apr 04 - We hate taxes too! They cut back on our time in the database! New entries, updates and corrections added. Total dogs online: 34039
• 7 Mar 04 - New entries, updates and corrections. Total dogs online: 33930
• 9 Feb 04 - New entries, updates and corrections. Total dogs online: 33804
• 8 Feb 04 - Standardizing the database. Updated stud book dates from two to four digit formats for 1700+ records. They now should all read 1960-04 (April 1960) instead of 60-04 where year and month are known.
